Established in 2011 by Natasha Nuñez and Allison Levy, teenVAG is a self-published zine assembled
under the basis and focus of the female anatomy. Featuring the work of twelve female artists and their
reinterpretation of the feminine coming of age, teenVAG is a collection of images reflective of each
individual artist's transition into womanhood. teenVAG confounds the stereotypes of female sex appeal,
eliminating the male whimsy through the portrayal of girls as their own ideal.

Promoting the work of emerging female artists, the first issue of teenVAG was created as an outlet
for budding talent. Curated with the apparent aesthetic that embodies these twelve artists, the images
featured celebrate the essence and beauty of girls being girls.
